Creighton A. Simmons, O.D.
Dr. Creighton Simmons graduated with highest honors in 1990 from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis Tennessee. After graduation he completed a one year residency in ocular pathology at Omni Eye Services, also in Memphis.
Dr. Creighton joined Simmons Eye Care in 1991. He practices primary care Optometry, which includes fitting contact lenses, prescribing glasses, children’s exams and treatment of ocular disease including glaucoma and co-management of cataract and laser surgeries. He was named “Young Optometrist of the Year” for the state of Arkansas in 1995 and served as President of the Arkansas Optometric Association in 2000. He was Optometrist of the year 2010, and presently holds a seat as Legislative Chairman.
Dr. Creighton lives in Benton and is a loving and devoted father of two son’s Collin and Cain.
Shelby Brogdon, O.D.
Dr. Shelby Brogdon completed her undergraduate degree from Arkansas State University and graduated with her Doctorate in Optometry from University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio, Texas. Upon graduation, Dr. Shelby moved back to Arkansas and joined both Simmons Eye Care in Benton and Teague Vision Clinic.
She practices primary care optometry including prescribing glasses, fitting contact lenses, and the treatment of various ocular diseases. She also has passion for pediatric eye care and vision therapy and enjoys seeing children of all ages. Dr. Shelby is member of the College of Optometrist in Vision Development along with the Arkansas and American Optometric Association.
Dr. Shelby lives in Benton with her husband Zach and their adorable dog Amos. They enjoy cheering on the Astate Redwolves and golfing together on the weekends.
